The Umbagog Trip
The group will motor canoe and paddle in from the state park up the Androscoggin River. They will stay at a group campsite at the bottom of Rapid River. This trip includes great smallmouth fishing in the National Wildlife Refuge (perhaps the best smallmouth bass lake in NH) as well as the opportunity to see moose, deer, and eagles. There are unsurpassed views of surrounding mountains and wonderful canoeing around the most western lake in the Rangeley district. Sunday and Monday night the group will be camping and listening to loons then returning to camp for dinner on Tuesday!
